As the creator and founder of the READY Academy Foundation, Dontri Bolden, aka Joe Rock was inspired by the youth he served and mentored as Federalsburg, MD's hometown barber. As a business owner and professional barber for over 26 years, he knew he had a bigger purpose to not just change the outer appearance of his community, but the inner as well. He believes this READY concept is the key to success. One of his favorite sayings is, "Some brands you wear on your body, this brand you wear on your heart". 

As the Co-CEO of the Ready Academy Foundation, Tri is the engine that makes it all run. Coming up in daycare, summer camps  and youth programs, he has seen it from both sides as a camper and a counselor. He is humble and dependable, responsible and mature at all times. With over 5 years of experience working with youth, he has become equip with the necessary tools to orchestrate camp, field trips and physical activities that the kids we serve need. 

With over 25 years of experience working with youth, Ty exhibits professional leadership skills, program development, advocacy, community involvement, behavior management and more! She has worked for four other nonprofits providing services for underserved children, at risk youth and youth in the juvenile system. As a peer specialist and coordinator her impact expands several counties on the eastern shore including Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Worchester, Sussex County and Talbot county.

Our Admin, Mrs. Deja handles so many things, she is the glue that holds everything together. She also is an intelligent, dedicated, and compassionate educator who has built her career around her love for children. After earning her Associate’s and her Bachelor’s in elementary education, she serves as a teacher where she continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of her students as well as our youth. She embodies accountability, dedication, and a commitment to excellence in everything she does.
